Utilizing Pitco’s patented Solstice burner and baffle design, the VF-35S increases cooking production while lowering flue temperature and improving the working environment. This design generates more production per BTU, making it 35% more energy-efficient than other fryers producing at the same rate.
The fryer features a deep cool zone beneath the tube rack, allowing debris to sink without carbonizing, which extends the lifespan of the frying oil. This design reduces the frequency of oil changes, leading to significant cost savings on oil purchases and disposal.
Equipped with a temperature limit switch and an integrated gas control valve, the VF-35S ensures safe operation. The gas control valve prevents gas flow to the main burner until the pilot is established and shuts off all gas flow automatically if the pilot flame goes out.
The fryer includes a 1¼” full port drain valve for quick draining, a drain extension, and a drain line clean-out rod for easy maintenance. The welded stainless steel tank with a smooth peened finish ensures durability and facilitates easy cleaning.
With a 35 lb (approximately 15.9–18.1 liters) oil capacity, the VF-35S can cook up to 59 lbs of French fries per hour, making it suitable for high-volume establishments.
